IPTVCDs and WHMN – One Day Training Workshop
The latest IPTVCDs include a confluence of several new technologies, including, multi-core processors, and hard disks, not to mention high-capacity home networking interfaces. This course deals extensively with several contenders in the IPTVCD marketplace – residential gateways, IP set-top boxes, game consoles, and media servers. Additionally this course also covers the topic of deploying a range of Whole Home Media Networking (WHMN) applications.

      - List the key functionalities (i.e. congestion management and enforcement of QoS) of a residential gateway.
      - Describe residential gateway industry initiatives.
      - Specify an IP set-top box to meet your IPTV & Internet requirements.
      - Describe the technical architecture of the various types of IP set-top boxes.
      - Deploy Whole Home Media Networking (WHMN) applications.
      - Describe the technical features of the various types of WHMN enabling technologies.
